Street View (Reassembled) at the Gothenburg Kulturkalas culture festival
Street View (Reassembled) will be on display next at the Gothenburg Kulturkalas culture festival in Gothenburg, Sweden. The Gothenburg Kulturkalas is one of the Nordic countries’ largest cultural festivals, reaching about 1.5 million visitors per year. The festival that has taken place since 1991, offers audiences cultural experiences across the fields of the performing arts, literature, film and food.
Finnish language courses in the autumn of 2017
This autumn, the Finnish Cultural Institute for the Benelux is hosting Finnish language courses for beginners (FI1) and advancing students (FI2, FI3 and FI4) as well as an intensive course. The classes will meet as usual from Tuesday to Saturday near the Sablon square at Rue de l’Arbre/Boomstraat 14/3.

Personnel changes at the Institute
The Finnish Cultural Institute for the Benelux is undergoing personnel changes. Head of Programme, Annukka Vähäsöyrinki’s duties end in June, but she will continue to be responsible as a producer of the Mobile Home(less) project from Finland until the end of the autumn and will begin work as a representative for the Finnish Cultural Institute in Benelux Trust. Project intern via the Svenska kulturfonden (Swedish Cultural Foundation in Finland), Emma Mether will move into the role of coordinator in the 2017 autumn. CIMO (Finnish National Agency for Education) intern, Alix Helfer’s work period handling the Institute’s communications ends in July. The next CIMO and Svenska kulturfonden interns will take up their duties in the autumn. Annukka, Emma and Alix share their experiences of the Finnish Cultural Institute for the Benelux.
